Karmell and Mark’s wedding at Pipers at the Marott was a wedding day experience that was beautiful through and through. They put together a wedding day celebration at Pipers at the Marott that was put together perfectly thanks to Karmell and Mark as well as their wedding planner Love Light Events LLC, who actually recommended me to Karmell and Mark. I’m beyond happy to have been a part of this wedding and I cannot wait to show you all some of the highlights!

Getting Ready

Karmell and Mark spent their mornings apart getting ready with their wedding parties.  Karmell and her ladies wore the cutest pink robes that made for such a fun getting ready to experience.  Both Karmell and Mark decided to write letters to one another the morning of their wedding day making for such a sweet wedding morning moment. Once both Karmell and Mark were ready for their wedding day at Pipers at the Marott it was time to meet up for their first look.

First Look

Karmell and Mark decided to have a first look prior to their wedding ceremony, which I love for my couples.  Not only does a first look make for some beautiful moments between you and your love the morning of your wedding, but it also gives you a personal and intimate moment during your wedding day, which can often feel like a whirlwind overall!  Karmell and Mark had so much fun seeing one another for the first time and then taking some portraits together around their beautiful wedding venue, Pipers at the Marott. These two are so dang perfect for one another, being able to capture the pure happiness of when they first saw one another on their wedding day is one of so many reasons why I love their wedding day so much!

Their Ceremony and Reception at Pipers at the Marott

Pipers at the Marott is already full of timeless and elegant décor.  So when you show up for your wedding day, you don’t have to go all out with wedding décor, because the venue really speaks for itself.  I love all of the details that Karmell and Mark included into their wedding day, specifically the flowers that had pink and purple that were placed thoughtfully throughout their wedding day. Their ceremony was full of so much joy and support from all of their loved ones creating such a special experience for Karmell and Mark. Their reception was equally as special, with SO many happy tears shed throughout the reception. The night was full of heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and endless celebration from all in attendance.

Their Wedding Portraits in Indianapolis

Pipers at the Marott is only about two and a half miles from the center of Indianapolis which gives us SO many options for wedding portraits.  Karmell and Mark took the majority of their wedding portraits at Pipers at the Marott, along with their family and wedding party photos.  We were able to sneak away just the three of us though to take some beautiful wedding portraits at Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis.  I love sneaking away with my couples to take photos at Monument Circle when I can, because it is such a timeless and historical space.  The three of us had so much fun walking around Monument Circle giving the newlyweds a moment alone while also documenting some intimate moments from their day.

After their wedding day at Pipers at the Marott, Karmell + Mark left me the SWEETEST review on the knot.  I seriously cannot express how much I love and appreciate my couples.  Here is a bit of what they had to say.  “We LOVED working with Tushona!
